Kelly Johnson from Cornerstone Virtual Assistance at www.cornerstoneva.com is the winner of the Suzi Pomerantz book, Seal the Deal! Nice job Kelly. Nik Nikkel from www.benchmarkjobsnotpeople.com was close. He matches companies to potential employees.

You never know, Kelly, Suzi might know a lot of people who might need your services as a Virtual Assistant!

This definitely looks like something I could read and from which I could profit. I'll get it on my list.

I enjoyed your presentation at the March DCF meeting. I am an affiliate member of DCF (I am a Virtual Assistant), and I appreciated the tools and resources you shared.

In the review above, this was one of the quotes that caught my attention: “The idea is one of collaboration with competitors, or turning competitors into partners, by building alliances and joint ventures as a business development strategy.” One of the aspects of being a small business owner that I appreciate is supporting other business owners and practicing the theory of abundance. By standing for a potential client and helping ensure that they find the best match for their business needs, you are providing a service and demonstrating that you are keeping a client's best interests at heart. This assists for people to get to know, like and trust you, and learn how you operate your business.

It is wonderful to draw on each other's strengths when forming an alliance and see how those professional relationships grow and develop over time. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities and expands your reach in ways you may not have thought possible as a small business owner.

Thank you for sharing this review; I look forward to purchasing the book!

I must admit, I didn't read this entire article, but I have a really good reason. You say that sales isn't what you do best, but you sold me on "Seal the Deal" in about 5 lines. I'm on my way to get it now. Thanks.

Stacey in Maryland

p.s. what advice can you give to a budding speaker?
